Abstract

ABSTRACT: This paper examines, through an online survey, the Informational Behavior into the researchers of the two areas of the School of Communication and Infor- mation Science of the University of Murcia, regarding their knowledge and use of the information assets available in their digital library their university. It starts from the assumption that these services represent a fundamental support for their research and they are two very similar communities, aware of the habits and practices of Informational behavior, expecting to de- fine homogeneous patterns between both areas. The results have confirmed much of the initial assump- tions although there have been some differences between the two groups of researchers analyzed. We also detected a scant use of some services , which should be corrected.
