Abstract

El recinto ferial de Lorca es una muestra de arquitectura civil utilitaria barroca realizado en el primer tercio del s. XVIII que sirvió para dinamizar los intercambios comerciales propios de esta época. Su comparación con el proyecto y condiciones que hizo el arquitecto Lucas de los Corrales, 1771-72, para el recinto ferial de Nuestra Señora de los Llanos (Albacete) permite hacerse una idea fidedigna de este tipo de arquitectura civil utilitaria ya que ambos recintos no existen en la actualidad.
