El objetivo de este trabajo es mostrar que el concepto de control percibido es esencial para analizar las relaciones entre emociones y salud. Para ello, se exponen los conceptos de control objetivo, control percibido y control personal; se distingue entre las creencias generales de control y las expectativas de autoeficacia y se formula la hipótetisis que el control percibido modula la reactividad psicobiológica en los estados emocionales.
