La lectura de autores adultos es una variable constante en el horizonte escolar desde que existe la misma posibilidad de estudiar literatura. En este estudio, pretendo revisar los conceptos de literatura clásica y canónica, casi siempre entrelazadas y entendidas como parte una de la otra, no solo desde perspectivas actuales, propias de los Cultural Studies, sino también a partir de la selección y creación de los propios clásicos literarios infantiles, para acabar examinando el canon infantil y escolar.
The reading of adult authors has been a steady variable in the school horizon since there was the very possibility of studying literature. In this work I intend to review the concepts of classic and canonical literature (almost invariably interrelated and understood one as a part of each other) not only from current perspectives typical of Cultural Studies, but also from the selection and creation of the children's literature classics, to finish by reviewing the children's and school canon.
