Abstract

Com base em material coletado em abril de 1998, durante campanha para coleta de material bentônico no âmbito do Projeto REVIZEE, apresenta-se resultados relativos a Gastropoda encontrados nas estações 6839 (32º55´S - 50º34´W), 6840 (33º01´S - 50º12´W), 6841 (33º00´S - 50º22´W) e 6842 (32º57´S - 50º29´W), localizadas ao largo de Rio Grande, Rio Grande do Sul, Brasil. São identificados 6.008 exemplares distribuídos em 34 famílias, 72 gêneros e 80 espécies. São registrados 20 novas ocorrências para o Rio Grande do Sul e 30 novos limites de profundidade.

Based on material collected in April 1998 during the benthonic material collecting in the REVIZEE project, results are provided related to the Gastropoda found in the hydrographic stations 6839 (32º55´S - 50º34´W), 6840 (33º01´S - 50º12´W), 6841 (33º00´S - 50º22´W) and 6842 (32º57´S - 50º29´W), off Rio Grande city, Rio Grande do Sul State, Brazil. A total of 6.008 specimens are identified and distributed in 34 families, 72 genera and 80 species. There are also 20 new occurrences reported for the Rio Grande do Sul State and 30 new depth limits.
