A celulose na farmácia

Abstract

Cellulose derivatives occupy an important place among the pharmaceutical excipients. This application range of cellulose and its derivatives varies from solid dosage forms, as binder, disintegrant or filmforming agent to semi-solid dosage forms, namely as hydrogel former. This review presents some of the most usual compounds employed in the pharmaceutical practice.
