Abstract

This paper reports to an experience on teaching the basic pre-calculus concepts future mathematics teacher on the beginning of their course. The intention was to (re)construct these concepts in a justfied manner. In order to do that we proposed application problems, called “teaching shootings". that could be solved by the own students based on their previous knowledge and were used to introduce new themes. Simultaneously we relate the usage of parallel didactics recourses 10 favor the student's interest and participation, such as visits to other science laboratories an libraries, enterviews with otecr areas professionals, use of computational softwares, concrete materiais and games, oral and visual public expositions etc. Here we explain how the experience was built and grew up inside the classroom as consequence of the diary observations and from the answers and mistakes analysis. lt had a good result not only because the amount of subjects learned but also because the contribution given to this future teacher apprendiceship, which can help him to be a more dynamic, creative and interdisciplinarian mathematics teacher.

Este texto apresenta um relato de experiência no ensino dos conceitos básicos do pré-cálculo para alunos de 1º semestre do curso de Licenciatura em Matemática. O objetivo foi reconstruir tais conceitos de forma justificada. Para isso, foram propostos problemas de aplicação, chamados de "disparadores do ensino", que poderiam ser resolvidos pelos alunos com o conhecimento já possuído e que serviram para introduzir novos temas. Paralelamente, relatamos o uso de outros recursos didáticos para favorecer o interesse e a participação dos estudantes, tais como visitas a laboratórios e bibliotecas das outras ciências, entrevistas com profissionais de outras áreas, exposições orais e em pôsters de trabalhos de pesquisa, uso de softwares, materiais concretos e jogos etc. A experiência foi construída e cresceu em sala de aula à medida que ocorriam as observações diárias e se faziam a análise das respostas e dos erros dos sujeitos. O resultado foi proveitoso não só pelos conteúdos aprendidos, mas também pela contribuição dada à formação de um futuro professor de Matemática mais dinâmico, criativo e interdisciplinar.
