No que tocamos quando lemos: o paradoxo da literatura como património imaterial e a leitura literária de livros-objeto.

Abstract

Propomos refletir sobre o livro infantojuvenil não apenas como objeto cultural material – documento e monumento – que o classificará enquanto “livro-obra-de-arte”, mas também enquanto, na velha e afetuosa expressão de pedagogos, “livro-como-um-amigo”. Estamos em crer que estas duas facetas de um livro ganham um exponencial e significativo sentido com o livro-objeto. Para além das artes plásticas e gráficas que são obrigatórias na criação do livro-objeto, realçamos a arte verbal, a literatura, portanto. A arte que acrescenta à materialidade do livro, resultado de trabalho artístico também, uma imaterialidade patrimonial de um intangível saber-fazer da humanidade.
