Mesura e desmesura em Heidegger. O ponto de vista ético

Abstract

Enquanto a Modernidade desenha a figura da sua autoconsciência como ratio e mensura, Heidegger compreende o ser humano basicamente a partir da figura grega da hybris trágica. A sua tese, bem conhecida, da essência da verdade no mundo da tecnologia avançada como Ge-stell é o mais claro testemunho da culminação desse processo, na época da maquinação cibernética e da desmesura, que, com palavras de Ernst Jünger, poderíamos chamar «titânica». A visão de Heidegger está, porém, mediatizada pela leitura de Hölderlin, cuja meditação ele defende que cria uma ponte1 com a experiência originária do mundo, ainda presente no paradigma helénico. Ora, para lá da experiência trágica, tão central na produção do poeta germânico, surge neste um especial alento para a superação do desalento trágico: uma experiência da desmesura humana em sentido positivo, capaz de fundar um «habitar poético» sobre a terra.
