In this article we examine migrant parents trust towards public and disability services when they have a disabled child. Data consist of interviews with 20 parents from six different countries. We use content analysis as a method during data analysis. Our results indicate that, current practices in public services make everyday lives difficult for the families involved and develop institutional distrust. Social categories' of parents with disabled child and migrant are interconnected creating dependency from the services and limiting parents agency.
