Abstract

La exposición "HUMM... TREE!" en la Galería de Arte Contemporáneo La Lisa, busca ofrecer al espectador una experiencia artística diferente, que le permita conectar con la naturaleza a través de la mirada de los artistas. Se trata de una muestra que invita a la reflexión sobre la relación del ser humano con el entorno natural, el paso del tiempo y la importancia simbólica del árbol en diferentes culturas. La temática central de la exposición es el árbol, explorado desde diferentes perspectivas artísticas. El texto introductorio del catálogo de la exposición destaca la conexión instintiva que los seres humanos tienen con los árboles, admirando su firmeza, hermosura y capacidad de regeneración. Se menciona que los árboles representan un motivo común a todas las culturas y que su presencia conecta el pasado, presente y futuro. Cada autor abordó el tema del árbol a través de su propio lenguaje visual y material. El proyecto, comisariado por Mª Jesús Abad y Carlos Valverde, reunió la obra de tres artistas: Ana Balboa, Marta Linaza y Javier Mañero.
