Projeto de investimento: Reis da Patinagem

Abstract

The following paper consists of the creation of a business plan that aims to found a skating school, namely Reis da Patinagem, located in the district of Lisbon. The goal is to combat the negative aspects in the introduction to skating because the promotion of the sport is very low and the quality with which it is taught in the initiation of skating is not always adequate. Through access to schools and taking advantage of existing sports venues, we aim to increase the number of people who know how to skate and improve quality. The realization of a questionnaire from which we obtained 247 answers, allowed us to conclude that access to skating in schools is very low, due to the reduced supply. The reception to the provision of services associated with the skating school was positive, with respondents recognizing the high associated cost. The accounts were carried out taking into account a 5-year operating period. The initial investment is very low, as are fixed costs, which is beneficial to the success of the company. After analyzing the economic and financial viability, we conclude that the VAL is 20.764€, the IRP of 15,92, and the TIR of 41,17%. Also, important to realize that the investment will be recovered after 3 years and 6 months of activity. Due to the indicators being positive we are allowed to conclude that the project is sustainable.
