El artículo presenta un estudio sobre las diferencias de género en los motivos para mantener relaciones sexuales. A través de un relato ficticio se analiza la intención de conducta, así como los motivos atribuidos al personaje, masculino o femenino, para implicarse o no en una relación sexual. Se ha utilizado un diseño experimental entre sujetos y la muestra está compuesta por 505 adolescentes de ambos sexos. Los resultados son interpretados desde el paradigma del papel del género en la prevención de los riesgos de la sexualidad.
This article presents a study about gender differences related to motives to maintain sexual intercourse. Using a fictious story, sexual behaviour intentions and attributed motives of the character (boy or girl) to either mantain or not a sexual intercourse are analized. A between subjects experimental design has been used with a total amount of 505 teen-agers, both genders. Results have been interpreted in the context of gender paradigm in sexual risk prevention.
