El doblaje del lenguaje no binario

Abstract

El presente estudio consiste en el análisis de la traducción del lenguaje no binario en el doblaje. Para realizar dicho análisis, se ha partido de la explicación del concepto de identidad de género no binaria, gracias a investigadoras en psicología y expresión del género. Comprender cómo esta comunidad queer hace uso del lenguaje con neologismos, expresiones ambiguas en género, etc. ayudará a que quien traduce sepa de qué maneras se puede plasmar la identidad no binaria a la que se enfrente en la lengua meta (en este caso, el español) y cuán importante es la visibilidad de esta identidad. Se han seleccionado siete producciones audiovisuales con personajes de género no binario o de género ambiguo en las que se pueden apreciar distintas formas de tratarlos en traducción, desde un enfoque completamente no binario hasta uno genérico pero inclusivo y neutro.
