Disponibilidad léxica en las comunidades de habla alicantinas

Abstract

Dentro de la investigación lingüística actual y, más concretamente, en el marco de la léxico-estadística se desarrolla una prolífera línea de estudio conocida como disponibilidad léxica, surgida en la década de los cincuenta del pasado siglo en ámbito francés. Aunque la labor pionera corresponda a especialistas galos (G. Gougenehim et al., 1956, 1964), es la investigación hispánica la que más y mejor provecho ha sabido extraer del estudio de la disponibilidad léxica. La disponibilidad léxica en las comunidades de habla alicantinas es una modesta aportación al magno Proyecto interhispánico de estudio coordinado de disponibilidad léxica, dirigido y coordinado por H. López Morales, que pretende establecer la norma léxica disponible común panhispánica. En concreto, este estudio pretende analizar el léxico disponible en la variedad castellana estándar de un sociolecto específico (alumnos preuniversitarios) en el marco geográfico integrado por las cuatro comunidades de habla alicantinas, a saber: 1. la Marina (Alta y Baixa), el Comtat y el Alcoià; 2. el Alicantí-el Vinalopó; 3. el Bajo Segura, excepto Guardamar y Barba-roja, y 4. el Alto Vinalopó (Villena y Sax). Al propósito inicial de este estudio se suman otros dos objetivos estrictamente sociolingüísticos: en primer lugar, reflejar la estratificación social de las comunidades de habla alicantinas, a partir de la covariación de la variable léxica disponible con diversos factores lingüísticos y sociales y, en segundo lugar, analizar las transferencias léxicas detectadas en las comunidades de habla alicantinas, desde los aportes del multilingüismo social.
