Son muchas las obras que nos dicen algo inspiradas por el mar o dedicadas a esta parte del planeta (paradójicamente llamado Tierra) que permite la vida. ¿Y qué dice el mar a todo esto? Maram trata de poner en palabras el sonido que nos llega del agua en contacto con la arena, el aire y las piedras. Desde el canto náhuatl, la expresión rítmica, repetitiva y concentrada nos muestra las posibilidades que la tecnología ofrece para la poesía digital a través de una (por ahora imaginaria) serie de algoritmos. Una propuesta de este tipo permite entender a la naturaleza cuando quizá más falta hace al tiempo que replantea el desarrollo de las humanidades digitales.

There are many works that tell us something inspired by the sea or dedicated to this part of the planet (paradoxically called Earth) that allows life. And what does the sea say to all this? Maram tries to put into words the sound that comes from the water in contact with sand, air and stones. From the Nahuatl song, the rhythmic, repetitive and concentrated expression shows us the possibilities that technology offers for digital poetry through a (by now imaginary) series of algorithms. A proposal of this kind allows us to understand nature when perhaps it is most needed at the same time that it rethinks the development of the digital humanities.
