Abstract

La desmotivación en el aula de lenguas extranjeras es un fenómeno analizado ampliamente para el inglés, no tanto así para el español. Por ello, en este trabajo se realiza, en primer lugar, una revisión teórica breve de las investigaciones existentes al respecto y también se acota la terminología en castellano. Posteriormente, se presenta un estudio preliminar y exploratorio de carácter cualitativo cuya muestra se basa en cuestionarios de preguntas abiertas. El análisis de las respuestas se llevó a cabo a través de la clasificación de clústeres temáticos y bajo el amparo teórico de los sistemas dinámicos complejos. Finalmente se valoran estos primeros resultados de cara a perfeccionar el cuestionario para hacer trabajos de recogida de datos más masivos en el futuro y se ofrecen unas recomendaciones basadas en estos primeros indicios tanto a nivel estructural del sistema educativo, como a nivel de aula para mejorar la enseñanza de español como lengua extranjera.

Demotivation while learning a foreign language is a widely analysed phenomenon for English, but the same cannot be said for Spanish. For this reason, in this paper, first, we perform a brief theoretical review of the existing research about demotivation and also, we introduce the terminology in Spanish. Then, a preliminary and exploratory qualitative study is presented, whose sample is based on open questionnaires. The analysis of the responses was carried out through the classification of clusters and under the theoretical conception of Complex Dynamic Systems. Finally, these first results are evaluated to improve the questionnaire to carry out massive data collection work in the future, and recommendations based on these first indications are offered both at the structural level of the educational system and at the classroom level for improvement of the teaching of Spanish as a foreign language.
