This paper deals with the hypothetical identification of the historical founders of Gadeira through the traces of it in phoenitian mythology and epigraphy. There are several testimonies, also in Classical sources, on Arcaleo, sin of Phoenix, in relationship to the fact. Hypothetically Milqastart could be his apotheosis.

Este artículo utiliza fuentes epigráficas y mitológicas tirias, de las que nos han llegado restos también a través del mundo clásico, para identificar hipotéticamente al mítico fundador de Gadir, Arcaleo, hijo de Fénix, y su apoteosis mitológica, Milqastart, así como su posición y significado en el panteón tirio.
