Abstract

Estudio de la pieza "La felicidad de la piedra" (1993), del dramaturgo español contemporáneo Alberto Miralles, drama que, en el plano compositivo, se caracteriza por el predominio del modo de configuración teatral deparado por el eje de la narratividad, en tanto que su universo imaginario se articula en torno a un enigma que debe ser resuelto y a una intriga constituida precisamente por el itinerario de dicha resolución. En el plano de la ficcionalidad, la obra ofrece una filiación con la serie negra, recreando así un universo atenido a las figuras y convenciones propias, en la novela y el cine actuales, de dicha temática. Como marco, la ciudad de Valencia es sometida a un brillante proceso de esencialización, que vincula sus datos más objetivos a la celebración de las fiestas falleras. Como en otros varios títulos notables del autor, la base realista aparece aquí trascendida por una sutil elaboración, que ubica esta creación en la esfera sofisticada y rica de la convención artística de ley. Por otra parte, la clara voluntad estilística que revela una condición de verdadero literato en este autor, se apoya en un registro lingüístico de notable elevación y dilatada elegancia. Al mismo tiempo, el texto se muestra plenamente capaz de evidenciar la puesta en escena virtual diseñada por el autor, revelando así la proximidad del estilo escénico de la pieza a modos genuinos de la dramaturgia de Alberto Miralles, tales como la utilización de técnicas procedentes del teatro épico brechtiano.
