A growing number of scientific studies show evidence of the beneficial effects of art therapies in impatiens. During the last decades, numerous initiatives have explored the relationship between artistic practice and health, especially with the use of music, movement-based expression, visual arts, and writing. These experiences are carried out on patients under various types of recovery processes. Although many of these studies are still in the initial stages of scientific confirmation, it can be said that it is a field from which long-term benefits are expected. The incorporation of artistic and creative therapies in the public and private health systems of the United States and Europe is growing and has increasingly been assimilated as an additional tool by caregivers and professionals.
