Abstract

En el presente proyecto se diseñan y calculan las instalaciones eléctricas de una acometida de alta tensión, centro de transformación e instalación de baja tensión para el desarrollo de una planta de tratamiento de residuos férricos en ArcelorMittal Madrid S.L. Según los objetivos medioambientales del Grupo ArcelorMittal, los residuos generados por la actividad de la empresa deben reducirse al mínimo, mejorando el rendimiento y el aprovechamiento de las materias primas necesarias para la producción del acero y de esta forma conseguir una mejor valorización de los residuos. Por otra parte, la gestión de la eliminación de estos residuos generados en los procesos de producción de acero (escorias) resulta muy costosa y complicada siendo realizados por un agente exterior a la empresa. El equipo de ingenieros de I+D+i ha realizado un estudio sobre el tratamiento de residuos férricos obteniendo como conclusión la necesidad de llevar a cabo una Planta de Tratamiento de Residuos Férricos. La principal ventaja que justifica esta instalación es obtener a partir de los residuos férricos, otros subproductos no férricos utilizables en otras actividades tales como jardinería, asfaltado, fabricación de cementos, etc. generando un valor añadido a la actividad de la empresa.
