Abstract

La asignatura de Diseño Industrial se desarrolla dentro del Plan 2008 (código 14202) del Grado de Ingeniería Mecánica de la Universidad Carlos III de Madrid, rama de conocimiento Ingeniería y Arquitectura. Se imparte, con carácter obligatorio, en cuarto curso, primer cuatrimestre y tiene una carga de 6 créditos ECTS (expediente nº 50/2008 de ANECA). Para cursar esta asignatura y dado el contenido del temario se recomienda que los alumnos hayan superado diferentes asignaturas del Grado: Expresión Gráfica en la Ingeniería, Mecánica de máquinas, Sistemas de producción y fabricación, Teoría de máquinas, Resistencia de materiales y Tecnología de materiales. Como Grado acreditado por EUR-ACE (European Accreditation of Engineering Progarammes), considerada como la acreditación más prestigiosa que un título de ingeniería en Europa puede obtener, debe garantizar que sus programas de estudios de ingeniería cumplen con los estándares de calidad y con la adecuación a las necesidades de los sectores profesionales a nivel europeo estipuladas por la ENAEE.(Red Europea de Acreditación de Educación en Ingeniería - European Network for Accreditation of Engineering Education).
