Estimación del desplazamiento horizontal del detector en un sistema de rayos X utilizando aprendizaje por transferencia

Abstract

Actas de: CASEIB 2020: XXXVIII Congreso Anual de la Sociedad Española de Ingeniería Biomédica, 25–27 Nov, 2020 (congreso virtual). En las imágenes de tomografía axial computarizada por rayos X (TAC) pueden aparecer artefactos causados por errores en la calibración geométrica del sistema de rayos X. Aunque existen muchos estudios que tratan de resolver el problema de la calibración geométrica de los sistemas de TAC, a menudo son diseñados específicamente para una configuración concreta y necesitan la adquisición previa de un maniquí. En este trabajo se propone un método basado en aprendizaje profundo (Deep Learning) para estimar la calibración geométrica de un sistema de TAC por rayos X directamente sobre una reconstrucción preliminar con artefactos. Los resultados preliminares muestran la viabilidad de la propuesta que abre la puerta a eliminar la necesidad de una fase de calibración previa con un maniquí específico para la calibración de sistemas de TAC de rayos X, sin suponer un extra de tiempo de cómputo.
