Sistema de apoyo a la vida independiente para personas mayores usando IoT

Abstract

La presente memoria corresponde al prototipo desarrollado para la monitorización y ayuda a las personas mayores dentro de un ambiente sensado. Comenzando por un análisis del problema y una revisión de las tecnologías disponibles, se justifica la elección de las tecnologías usadas en el proyecto para luego proceder a una descripción meticulosa de cada componente del sistema. El problema que se presenta es que en la actualidad se prevé una gran tendencia al envejecimiento de la población debido a la mejora de las tecnologías sanitarias actuales que incrementan notablemente la esperanza de vida y que acarrea una serie de gastos para la debida asistencia. Se plantea una solución aplicando las tecnologías actuales para la elaboración de sistemas de bajo coste, implementable en cualquier vivienda, que sin ser invasiva pueda detectar las actividades diarias del sujeto supervisado y ofrezca esta información permitiendo detectar cambios en el patrón de conducta. En la descripción se hace una división en cuatro grandes bloques, que son la plataforma, la red de sensores, el Gateway y la web. En cada bloque hay una descripción detallada de la puesta en marcha de cada sistema, describiendo siempre el software necesario y los recursos utilizados para en un futuro poder proceder a la replicación del prototipo y su mejora. Finalmente se hace una evaluación del sistema mediante distintos test en los cuales se mide la fiabilidad de este, analizando los resultados obtenidos y agregando una serie de propuestas para el trabajo futuro a desarrollar.
