Optimización de la red de intercambio de calor de una central térmica convencional mediante el método Pinch

Abstract

Este proyecto utiliza las técnicas del análisis pinch con el objetivo de analizar las características y la eficiencia de un ciclo Rankine regenerativo, presente en una central térmica convencional con doble recalentamiento de 1000MW. La red de intercambio de calor consta de 10 procesos de extracción que han sido evaluados detenidamente. En primer lugar se ha diseñado el ciclo Rankine mediante el software CyclePad, introduciendo todos los parámetros de funcionamiento de la planta, y se ha realizado un balance de masa y energía. Una vez obtenido el ciclo, se han extraído los datos correspondientes a la capacidad calorífica y la entalpía de cada una de las corrientes pertenecientes a la red de intercambio de calor. Tras haber obtenido todos los datos necesarios para el estudio y optimización de la red de intercambio, se han analizado dichos datos mediante el programa Excel, aplicando las distintas técnicas del método del análisis pinch. Para comenzar el estudio se ha seleccionado un valor para la diferencia de temperaturas mínima entre las corrientes frías y calientes. Gracias a la tabla de desplazamiento de temperaturas y a la obtención de las curvas compuestas, se ha determinado una temperatura desplazada del pinch de 97,6ºC para el valor de ATmin seleccionado inicialmente. Posteriormente, se ha realizado el análisis con distintos valores de ATmin con el fin de poder realizar la comparativa y seleccionar el valor óptimo. Una vez concluido el estudio e los 7 casos seleccionados, se ha realizado la comparativa económica, determinando el valor óptimo de diferencia de temperatura mínima en 10ºC. Finalmente, se ha llevado a cabo un estudio económico para determinar el ahorro alcanzado mediante la aplicación de este método de optimización en una central de dichas características.
