Caracterización de aceros nitrurados

Abstract

Con el presente estudio se pretende: - Conocer mejor las técnicas de nitruración, así como las principales variables de las que dependen. - Caracterizar los aceros seleccionados una vez tratados. - Comparar las características obtenidas por los aceros nitrurados con las características obtenidas por los mismos aceros bajo otros tratamientos de endurecimiento superficial, creando gráficos comparativos. - Determinar si la utilización de aceros especiales de nitruración es decisiva para obtener unos buenos resultados, o si por el contrario pueden utilizarse aceros de menor coste y conseguir unas características aceptables. - Comparar las propiedades de dureza y resistencia en la capa superficial de un acero apto, obtenidas mediante nitrocarburación (sin templar y revenir el acero previamente, con el ahorro de costes de operación que esto conlleva) y las obtenidas mediante una nitrocarburación corriente, con un temple y un revenido previo. - Comparar la resistencia a la fricción de un acero nitrurado y un acero nitrocarburado frente al mismo acero sulfinizado, que según la teoría obtiene mejores coeficientes de fricción y una pérdida de masa menor.
