Abstract

En el presente proyecto se realizará un estudio de la calidad de los datos de las bases de datos de carácter personal. Se profundizará en la evaluación de la calidad de los datos, con respecto a su inserción, en diferentes bases de datos. Dicho tema se estudiará al ser un problema mayúsculo en la actualidad de las empresas, que genera muchas pérdidas económicas además de pérdida de información, con su correspondiente pérdida de confianza respecto al cliente final. Podremos comprobar, por ejemplo, que para formularios iguales, en diferentes bases de datos, el nivel de calidad dependerá de campos distintos. Para ello, se propone el desarrollo de una herramienta de calidad de datos de ayuda al auditor, o a aquellas personas que tratan de mejorar o controlar la calidad, en su tarea. Todo esto irá precedido por un análisis en profundidad de los términos de la auditoría informática, las bases de datos y de la auditoría de calidad, estudiando las implicaciones legales que la calidad conlleva,y realizando un pequeño estudio del mercado en lo referente a las empresas cuya tarea principal es el estudio de la calidad en los datos. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------This project will study the quality of data from databases of personal data. It will deepen in the evaluation of the quality of data with regard to its insertion, in different databases. This issue will be studied because is a major problem at present business, which generates many economic losses in addition to loss of information, with a corresponding loss of confidence in the final customer. We may see, for example, that for equal forms in different databases, the quality level will depend on different fields. To do this, it proposes the development of a data quality tool help the auditor, or those trying to improve or control the quality in his work. All this is preceded by a thorough analysis of the terms of the audit computer databases and the quality audit, studing the legal implications that quality implies,and doing a little market research regarding companies whose main task is the study of data quality.
