Diseño, simulación y construcción de un convertidor elevador corrector del factor de potencia

Abstract

El objetivo principal de este proyecto es la corrección del factor de potencia mediante un convertidor elevador. Es necesario porque disminuye las pérdidas en los conductores, reduce la caída de tensión, aumenta la disponibilidad de potencia de transformadores, líneas y generadores y también incrementa la vida útil de las instalaciones. A continuación se muestran y se explican los diferentes objetivos que se han ido marcando en el desarrollo del proyecto, es decir, los principales objetivos que se van a tratar de alcanzar: - Elección de los componentes que se utilizan tanto en el circuito compuesto por el convertidor elevador como también los componentes del circuito de control. - Modelado del circuito con el programa PSIM y posteriormente con SmartCTRL. - Diseño del esquemático con el programa OrCAD-Capture y a continuación el layout del mismo. - Construcción del prototipo de la placa PCB y por último, pruebas de validación con diferentes lazos de control y comparación con las simulaciones. Los distintos puntos que se han ido marcando, son considerados los más importantes y los de mayor relevancia de cara a un buen funcionamiento del Corrector del Factor de Potencia; para ello a lo largo del proyecto se van a ir mostrando por qué son importantes estos tipos de circuitos en la electrónica.
