Abstract

________________________________________________________________________________________________________ The energy situation is conditioned by the limited reserves of fossil fuels. This fact, coupled with the growing concern for the environment, carries the momentum of research and development of other energy sources. For example in the transport sector, the motor fuel may be substituted by electrochemical systems such as fuel cells, batteries or supercapacitors. The successful implementation of these systems in general level depends on get over problems such as cost and autonomy. This Final Degree Project is within the project of Energy Storage Systems Laboratory of Electrical Engineering Department which aims to create equipment that can perform the most usual tests on electrochemical storage systems; particularly this project tackles the development of software to equipment control. In which different storage types are studied and the usual tests were performed. Furthermore I proceed to study several equipment setups and then program the software. Ingeniería Industrial
