Abstract

Butterfly gastroplasty is a new restrictive bariatric technique effective in the long term control of morbid obesity especially for the bulk eaters Construction of a butterfly gastroplasty (micro funnel shaped pouch) limited to the cardia theoretically avoids rapid weight regain as other restrictive procedures.
