One of the purposes of the Burlington County LandUse Inventory and Analysis is to provide a reasonablyexact picture of what the land area is now being usedfor as a base for other studies and future plans. Bythe use of maps and tabulations, the location and distributionof land uses as well as the raw amount of landin each use can be recorded. This allows us to observewhat lands are available for development, and the relationshipsthis land has to already developed areas,infrastructure, transportation, open space, recreationand other resources.
