</script>Bovine papillomatosis belongs to the group of chronic proliferative diseases of viral etiology. Young cattle up to 2 years of age are most often affected. Papillomatosis is caused by the papilloma virus, which forms benign tumors of fibroepithelial properties on the skin and mucous membranes. Usually, the skin form is characterized by the appearance of one or more papillomas, which usually affect the head, neck, shoulders, ears, around the eyes, in the area around the throat, mouth, and udder. As a result, frequent and permanent bleeding may occur.
