
Feliciano de Silva en su Segunda Celestina sigue el tratamiento burlesco del amor que hizo Rojas, pero a través de las cartas de amores que se intercambian tres parejas de extracción social muy diferente. Silva muestra así la extravagante deformación de este género epistolar, que tantos éxitos había cosechado en las admirables obras de Diego de San Pedro, a la vez que ofrece un jocoso muestrario epistolar del que se sirve para denunciar su trivialización y degradación moral.
