Las relaciones entre el Parlamento Europeo y los parlamentos nacionales

Abstract

El siguiente trabajo aborda las relaciones existentes entre el Parlamento Europeo y los Parlamentos nacionales que pueden ser de diferente naturaleza y tenor. Las ha habido de confrontación y de colaboración, de carácter multilateral y bilateral, de modo formal como informal, con periodicidad o de forma esporádica, etc. Se pone de manifiesto como la progresiva incorporación de los Parlamentos nacionales a la escena europea, en paralelo al aumento de protagonismo del Parlamento Europeo en la escena institucional ha generado una necesidad de crear cauces de interrelación entre dichos parlamentos. Igualmente se expone como esa necesidad de relación interparlamentaria ha sido progresivamente recogida en las distintas reformas de los Tratados, en particular el proyectado por el Tratado de Lisboa.
