
In May 2020, a trial excavation was conducted in Khan Jaljuliya (Permit No. A-8720; map ref. 195278–347/673424–83; Fig. 1), prior to conservation works. The excavation, on behalf of the Israel Antiquities Authority and funded by Jaljuliya Local Council, was directed by M. Hater, with the assistance of Y. Amrani (administration), S. Emmanuilov (surveying and drafting), Y. Tepper (guidance), I. Taxel (pottery), L. Perry Gal (archaeozoology) an A. ‘Azab (IAA central region).
