In November 2017, a salvage excavation was conducted at H orbat Endor (Permit No. A-8146; map ref. 236108/727261; Fig. 1), prior to works on the Dovrat–Newe Ur gas line. The excavation, on behalf of the Israel Antiquities Authority and funded by Israel Natural Gas Lines Ltd., was directed by Y. Har’el (field photography), assisted by Y. Lavan (administration), Y. Shmidov (surveying and drafting), N. Feig (pottery), A. Shapiro (tobacco pipes), H. Tahan-Rosen (pottery drawing and plans) and J. Gosker (seal ring).
