
In July 2018, a salvage excavation was conducted in Bet She’an (Permit No. A-8308; map ref. 24758/71138; Fig. 1) in a plot slated for the construction of a Chabad House. The excavation, undertaken on behalf of the Israel Antiquities Authority and funded by Beit Chabad, was directed by Y. Har’el (field photography), with the assistance of Y. Lavan (administration), M. Peleg (photogrammetry), H. Tahan-Rosen (plans and pottery drawing) and N. Feig (pottery).
