
During August-September 2010, a salvage excavation was conducted at the Remez neighborhood at Lod, within the area of two adjacent building lots (Permit No. A-5993; map ref. 190468-819/651560-912), prior to private development. The excavation, undertaken on behalf of the Israel Antiquities Authority and underwritten by the Israel Lands Administration, was directed by A. Golani, with the assistance of R. Abu-Halaf, Y.
