
During June-July 2009, the third field season of the Lahav Research Project, Phase IV was conducted at Tel Halif ((License No. G-3/2009; map ref. 187/587-8; HA-ESI 120, Fig. 1). The excavation, on behalf of Emory University and the Cobb Institute of Archaeology at Mississippi State University, was directed by O. Borowski (field photography) of Emory University, with the assistance of J.W. Hardin (Cobb Institute; field supervisor), N. Bierling (Phoenix Data Systems; area supervisor), E. Hawksley(Cardiff University/Oxford Archaeology; area supervisor), T. Frank (LRP; area supervisor), B. Burnworth (Cobb Institute; area supervision in training), G. Friend (University of New Mexico/Gallup; laboratory management and registration), J. Rosenberg (AIAR; surveying) and D. Kerges (Cobb Institute; technical drawing).
