El judío en el nacionalsocialismo

Abstract

Dentro de la violencia inherente al gobierno del III Reich resulta innegable que su mayor expresión se alcanzó en el acoso, persecución y, por último, exterminio del pueblo judío. Si bien este episodio se suele analizar habitualmente desde el plano histórico o politológico, queda todavía mucho por ahondar desde el punto de vista ontológico: ¿qué significaba «el judío», en cuanto esencia, para la raza aria? ¿Qué suponía su existencia? ¿Por qué erradicarlo? ¿Por qué de una forma, no ya mecánica, sino tan brutal, violenta y secretista? Las respuestas a estas preguntas son las que, a continuación, trato de esbozar en el siguiente artículo. Para ello se partirá del análisis realizado por Levinas en la década de 1930 a propósito del hitlerismo, para después describir la nueva ontología que subyacía a la concepción nacionalsocialista del ser humano, al igual que a las identidades que otorgaba a la figura del «ario» y del «judío».
