Seis provocaciones de Levinas antes del cautiverio

Abstract

Se ofrece al lector la traducción de los textos que Emmanuel Levinas publicó en la revista Paix et Droit, entre 1935 y 1939. En ellos encontraremos temas como la peculiaridad del judaísmo y en qué consiste su antipaganismo, el presentimiento del hitlerismo, testimonios sobre la Alianza Israelita Oriental, la relación entre judíos y cristianos y la esencia espiritual del antisemitismo. Leeremos a un Levinas, entre sus 23 a 33 años de edad, lleno de vitalidad, pero, a la vez, con una conciencia prístina sobre el peso y las implicaciones que una fe auténtica tiene en medio de los avatares de la existencia.
