Abstract

En las Unidades Didácticas anteriores se ha llevado a cabo el estudio del marco general y de los principios que inspiran los mecanismos de coordinación de la Seguridad Social, asimismo se han analizado las prestaciones que denominamos a corto plazo. En la presente Unidad, nos ocuparemos de las prestaciones a largo plazo, a saber: la pensión de vejez, de supervivencia y de invalidez. De ellas, tiene significativa relevancia, tanto cualitativa como cuantitativamente, la pensión de vejez. A su cálculo y a las normas anticúmulo dedicaremos una especial atención. Por lo que se refiere a las pensiones de supervivencia debe ponerse de manifiesto el concepto de superviviente, así como el tratamiento que las diferentes legislaciones otorgan a los matrimonios del mismo sexo. Finalmente, en las prestaciones de invalidez serán analizadas las dos modalidades de legislación, así como la determinación de la situación de invalidez y su agravación.
