In this research, an analysis is made of managerial skills and their relationship with the job performance of teachers at the Catholic University of Cuenca (UCACUE). For this, a methodology with a cross-sectional non-experimental quantitative approach with a correlational scope was used. The sample consisted of 374 students to whom a survey was applied and 10 career directors who were interviewed. The results indicate that the management skills of the UCACUE teachers (74.87%) are good; In addition, 88.5% consider that job performance is adequate according to the scale used. It was also verified, through Spearman's correlation coefficient and the Multinomial Regression Model, that there is a causal relationship between management skills and job performance of UCACUE professors, that is, while management skills are continuously improved, job performance will be more adequate.
