Abstract

Este artículo revisa el estado del arte de las nociones de género narrativo y formato, muestra la laxitud del primer término, justifica la practicidad analítica del segundo y propone una herramienta para realizar una taxonomía de formatos para la ficción audiovisual seriada con 12 parámetros. La aplicación de esta herramienta en estudios de caso que habrán de examinar también las tramas ayudará a identificar las determinaciones (posibilidades y límites) que algunas variables de producción, en principio meramente técnicas o formales, operan sobre el desarrollo del contenido: los argumentos y el mundo posible poético en el que estos se desarrollan.
