Calligraphy is the art of beautiful writing that not only has aesthetic value, but also psychological benefits. This research aims to explain the relationship between calligraphy and psychology, especially in relation to mental health. Calligraphy writing activities involve high focus and repetitive movements, so they can help calm the mind and reduce stress. Apart from that, calligraphy also trains patience and improves concentration abilities. In the context of self-expression, calligraphy allows a person to express emotions creatively, which can help overcome emotional stress. The elements of color and shape in calligraphy also have an influence on a person's mood. Overall, calligraphy is not only an art, but also a useful tool for maintaining mental health and improving psychological well-being. Thus, the art of calligraphy has an important role in connecting creativity and mental health.
