Abstract

A associação de fungos ectomicorrízicos com essências florestais nativas pode ser uma alternativa para melhorar a adaptação e desenvolvimento de mudas em áreas reflorestadas do Estado do Rio Grande do Sul. O objetivo deste trabalho foi caracterizar e identificar associações ectomicorrízicas em plântulas de grápia (Apuleia leiocarpa) e canafístula (Peltophorum dubium), em condições de laboratório. Quatro tratamentos de inoculação com isolados de fungos ectomicorrízicos foram utilizados para a grápia: UFSM RA 2.8 (Suillus sp.), UFSM RA 3.6, UFSC-Pt116 (Pisolithus microcarpus), UFSC-Pt24 (Pisolithus sp.), além de um tratamento controle, sem fungo. Para a canafístula, foram utilizados quatro isolados: UFSM RA 2.8, UFSC-Pt116, UFSC-Sc 124 (Scleroderma citrinum Pers.) e UFSC-Pt24 (Pisolithus sp.) e um tratamento sem fungo. Em ambas as essências florestais foi utilizado delineamento inteiramente casualizado com sete repetições por tratamento. Para o desenvolvimento vegetal, avaliaram-se as seguintes variáveis: altura de planta, massa fresca da parte aérea e do sistema radicular, massa seca da parte aérea e presença de colonização ectomicorrízica. Observaram-se ectomicorrizas nas plântulas de grápia inoculadas com o isolado UFSM RA 2.8 (Suillus sp.). Esse fungo também favoreceu o desenvolvimento das plântulas de grápia, como a altura de plântulas e massa fresca e seca da parte aérea, embora não foi estatisticamente diferente aos demais isolados. As plântulas de canafístula apresentaram indícios de formação ectomicorrízica, como a presença do manto fúngico.
