The objective of this paper is to show some critical factors of National Security that have been exposed intheinternational crises, such as vulnerability in dependence on the global supply chain, in terms of energy and food products that are strategic for our population and the national production chain. International reports were reviewed worldwide, such as those of the OECD and ECLAC; and in Peru, the reports of the BCRP, the INEI and the COMEX, which made it possible to determine the degree of socioeconomic affectation of Peru, as well as the levels of dependence on specific imports of commodities, strategic for National Security, as well as review the inflationary levels resulting from the war in Ukraine.
