Treinamento resistido e seus benefícios para os adolescentes

Abstract

O presente estudo é uma revisão bibliográfica que tem como objetivo identificar os benefícios do treinamento resistido para os adolescentes. Para isso os dados necessários à pesquisa foram retirados de artigos publicados em revistas especializadas, livros e pesquisas na internet e não foi estabelecido um período de tempo específico para busca de artigos. Pelo estudo ficou demostrado que há evidências científicas que mostram que o treinamento resistido pode oferecer benefícios à saúde e à aptidão física dos adolescentes, desde que seja orientado e prescrito por um profissional. Deste modo, o treinamento resistido pode ser utilizado como alternativa à prática de exercício físico em adolescentes, pois proporciona inúmeros benefícios a saúde dos seus praticantes, diminuindo os riscos de comorbidades, maximizando o desempenho em várias atividades rotineiras e podendo também colaborar nos aspectos psicológicos e sociais.
