Abstract

La mission créée en 2015 se déroule à Barrancas, municipalité du département de Cochinoca, dans la Puna de Jujuy, à 3700 m d'altitude. Celle-ci inclut plusieurs localités, dont le village éponyme, incluant une réserve archéologique et naturelle, caractérisé par d’imposantes falaises volcaniques sur lesquelles ont été gravés et/ou peints plus d’un millier de motifs d’art rupestre.
