Our present and future power network situation requires extra flexibility in the integration of distributed generation more than ever. Mainly for the small and medium energy converting systems including intelligent control and advanced power electronics conversion systems. This research study showed the visibility of various methods of forming an electric power supply system by paralleling power electronic inverters. These methods foundation is based on the conventional grid control methodologies. This research addressed mainly the control issues related to future modular distributed power systems with flexible power electronics inverters as front-end.
